Wedding photobooth : Say cheese!

During the past few years, the photobooth has become more and more trendy. Indeed, this animation represents an alternative to the traditional wedding photoshoots and allows you to get photos of your guests in an atypical decor with some fun accessories.

  • The place

Choose a place that is easy to get to but also a bit away from the rest of your guests so that everyone can enjoy this animation without disturbing the others. Moreover, we advise you to organize your photobooth during the reception so that every guest can take part to this animation. Shooting during the day is also a good way to enjoy the sunlight and to avoid using a lighting system to get beautiful souvenir pictures of your wedding.

 

  • The decor

The main advantage of the photobooth is certainly the fact that it can be creating according to your desires and tastes. Indeed, you have the possibility to easily create yourself the decor. Though, do not forget to stick to your wedding atmosphere and theme.

Romantic, rustic or fun, inside or outside, everything is possible!

For instance, you can hang on a tree some frames of different shapes and sizes to different lengths so that everyone can enjoy it.

You can also create Polaroid style frames with your names and the date of you wedding on it.

If you don’t want to spend too much on your photobooth, you can also use helium balloons that are matching your wedding colours and that will be fixed to the ground to get a fun and economical decor.

You would like a vintage touch? Use an old couch with some nice curtains and old suitcases and books for a vintage decor.

 

  • The accessories

Putting some chalkboard signs and chalks at the guests’ disposal will allow them to be photographed with a personalized note to the bride and groom.

For a more eccentric photoshoot, think about hats, masks, glasses and moustaches. This is the guarantee to get fun souvenir pictures of your wedding.

 

  • The organization

Regarding the technique, you have two possibilities: you can either ask for a professional photograph, or use a camera with a tripod and a self-timer.

If you choose the second option, think about telling your guests how the photobooth works with signs for instance. You can also choose to use a Polaroid camera to get your pictures instantly and put them in your guest book during your wedding day.
